Description

A traditional Italian culinary specialty. Very easy to grow and quick to mature. Plant with other cool season crops and harvest in little more than a month. The small heads are like the side shoots on broccoli, but their flavor is more distinct.

Plant in rich, moist soil with plenty of organic matter. Time your planting to mature while weather is cool, usually in early spring, late summer, or winter in mild climates. Cut tender leaves, stems, and heads as soon as buds form. Second and third cuttings are possible in cool weather.
