Catnip, a hardy perennial herb found growing wild throughout North America and Europe, is easy to grow in just about any garden soil. Makes a relaxing bedtime tea for humans, and a favorite treat for cats!

Catnip is very versatile and easy to grow. Almost any location from part shade to full sun will do as long as the soil is well-drained. May be started indoors six weeks early for transplanting. Cut individual leaves anytime or cut back entire plant to 6″ before flowering. May be dried for later use.
