Description

This easy to fill Deluxe Heated Hen Hydrator provides access to clean water on demand while keeping it ice-free up to -10F. The translucent bucket was designed to provide UV protection to prevent algae growth and allow for easy viewing of the water level.

Convenient twist locking lid is sloped to prevent roosting and make cleaning easy. Thermostatically controlled UL listed electrical components ensure safe ice-free operation to -10F. Ergonomic handle is designed for the unit to be hung easily and includes a free Little Giant® Bucket Handle Grip (Model #166713) for comfortable carrying with plenty of clearance between hand and bucket. Each of the 4 side-mounted drinking nipples accommodates up to 4 birds and allow for easy access. Holds up to 3 gallons. Comes fully assembled. Hanging height will vary by breed but should be hung so the nipples are at the bird's eye level. This waterer is recommended for adult birds only. For best results remove all other water sources and tap each nipple so chickens can see water dripping. Acceptance of this watering method may take time but once a few birds begin to use it, others should follow. 65 Watts, 120 Volts. 6-foot cord!
