The most-popular clover for low-maintenance lawns! White Dutch Clover is a specific variety of white clover known for its perennial nature, its resilience in dry conditions, and its growing popularity as the perfect clover to overseed into an existing lawn. It finds versatile applications in landscaping, serving as a ground cover, cover crop, erosion control solution, and a valuable component in pasture mixtures. Typically, it reaches a mature height of 8 to 10 inches. White Dutch clover seeds are also highly favored for adding to residential lawns to create a more bee-friendly and lower maintenance yard.
Seeding Dutch White Clover alone is not recommended. It will perform best when used in conjunction with a turfgrass or mixed with other clovers.

Dutch White Clover is also great at being a natural weed suppressor. The clover can be mowed to control grass growth, eliminate seed heads, and suppress broadleaf weeds.
Most-importantly, White Dutch Clover is great at attracting butterflies, bees, and other essential pollinators. It maintains its lush green appearance even during dry summer spells, gracing your landscape with its beautiful blooms.
Overseeding Instructions: Mow your existing lawn 1.5-2 inches. Hand broadcast seed, blending with sand, sawdust, or soil. This will help to sow the seeds evenly. Mist lawn daily for the first two weeks, keeping moist. 1 lb of Dutch White Clover will cover approximately 4,000 sq feet.
Instructions for Incorporating Dutch White Clover into a New Lawn: Seed the lawn with your grass seed mix at the rate recommended on its packaging. Then spread 1 lb of Dutch White Clover per 4,000 sq feet. Mist lawn daily for the first two weeks, keeping moist. This will help ensure good germination. Clover lawns require little to no fertilization.
