Description
Coreopsis lanceolata.
Found in open woodlands, prairies, savannas, plains, meadows, and pastures. It is drought tolerant and easy to establish. Attracts a variety beneficial insects, bees, and butterflies. Can be used in prairie or meadow plantings, or along roadsides. Grows well in most soil conditions, ranging from moist to dry, in full sun. Ranges from 2-3′ in height. Yellow flowers bloom in Spring to late Summer.
