Cleaning Instructions The Ultimate Litter Mat is machine washable – Cold water only. Hand wash or machine wash on delicate cycle only. Lay flat to dry. Do not machine dry. If using clay litter and a ball of litter has formed that does not disintegrate, cover the clump with a piece of cardboard and strike it several times; this should break it into smaller pieces that can then be removed. A quick shake the mat once a week or so should also prevent litter build up.
