Description
Bright red round roots with crisp white flesh. A vigorous mid-season variety that develops quickly and is slow to become woody. Plant both extra-early and late for tasty radishes all season. It won an All America Selections award in 1957.
Plant every few weeks starting in early spring or fall/winter in mild climates. Water consistently. Time your plantings to mature while the weather is cool. Sow every two weeks from late spring through summer for continuous crops. Maximize your harvest by planting between slower growing crops like carrots and potatoes.
