Plant Sparaxis bulbs in spring after the threat of frost has passed. Choose a sunny location (6-8 hours daily) with well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Plant bulbs 2-3 inches deep and 2 inches apart, with the pointed end facing upward. Water moderately during growth and blooming periods, reducing irrigation after flowering.
