Description
Sky-blue, star-shaped flowers make a lovely and interesting garnish. Leaves and flowers have a mild cucumber flavor. Very easy to grow and can withstand poor, dry soil. Also known as bee bread, borage attracts honeybees and other pollinating insects.
Sow directly in average, well-drained soil after all danger of frost has passed. Grows best in full sun to light shade. Borage reseeds freely. Flowers and leaves can be picked anytime for fresh use. Freeze flowers in ice cubes to add sparkle to summer beverages
