Description
Ruffled blue-green leaves with attractive white ribs stay tender even when full size. Frost-tolerant, productive plants are rich in nutrients and easy to grow. Beautiful paired with Red Russian kale in baby leaf salads.
Plant in rich, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade in early spring, or mid summer for a fall crop. Start indoors 6 weeks before the last spring frost date and transplant 2 weeks before last frost. Water consistently. Cut outer leaves from bottom of plant as needed. Leaves will regrow from central stem.
